Indy Uppal

Managing Director

My passion for Real Estate started with my career in Construction. As an ex-Construction Manager for Carillion Plc. I was privileged to work on the (Media Hub) Olympics in 2012. I also helped build national projects such as schools and hospitals as part of the London and South East Building Team. In 2014, I took the step in setting up my own real Estate Company (previously Solihull Sales and Lettings) after advice from a colleague. Honestly, it was not the easiest of starts, coming from a construction background but my strong desire to deliver for clients and offering the best service possible has been key to our drive forward and becoming a company that can be trusted.

On a personal note. I have always been quite active and enjoy playing sports in general. As an ex-amateur boxer. The desire to work hard, perserver, not to quit and succeed in the face of adversity has given me the ingredient’s to ensure that our company will do what it takes to deliver results for our clients.        

Becky Uppal (BU)

Indy and I founded BU Homes in 2014, originally known as Solihull Sales and Lettings. Having built our careers in London, we identified a significant opportunity to utilize our expertise in this new venture. Our experience in establishing BU Salons further solidified our commitment to providing high-quality, efficient services. With a passion for the hair industry since the age of 14, I have held positions as a Loreal educator and now proudly partner with Balmain Hair Couture. My journey in property began at 21, guided by my parents. I am drawn to the historical charm of period properties and find great satisfaction in interior design.

Saqib Ali

Senior Property Consultant

For the past decade, I've immersed myself in the property world, cultivating a deep expertise in lettings, encompassing both residential and commercial sectors. My qualifications in commercial lettings complement my extensive experience, allowing me to provide comprehensive services to a diverse clientele. This blend of professional expertise and a dynamic approach has been consistently recognised, earning me numerous awards and the respect of both peers and clients.

At BU Homes, my primary responsibility is ensuring our clients’ strict adherence to the latest property legislation. Compliance is paramount, and we pride ourselves on being industry experts in this critical area.

My experience extends beyond lettings, encompassing significant involvement in the residential sales environment. I have a proven track record in accurate property valuations, conducting effective viewings, and skillfully negotiating successful sales.

Outside of work, I enjoy exploring diverse culinary experiences, seeking out new restaurants and cuisines. I also have a passion for active pursuits, including go-karting, snooker, and the driving range. As a dedicated sports enthusiast, I relish attending football, cricket, and boxing events.

Jonathan Cooke

Senior Property Consultant

Estate agency runs through my veins… literally! A lifelong Silhillian and being the grandson of Sydney Shipway, co-founder of Shipways estate agents (formerly Shipway Doble & Earle), I embarked on my career in property during the 1990’s, quickly rising through the ranks to become the manager of their Knowle and Stratford-upon-Avon offices. Throughout my lengthy career working for both corporate and independent companies, I’ve gained a reputation for being a hardworking, highly professional estate agent who goes above and beyond to provide an unrivalled personal service to clients; offering expert advice throughout the entire transaction, from instruction to completion, and even negotiating on their behalf to achieve the best possible deal on their onward purchases. A doting grandfather with an undying passion for property, I am also an accomplished session musician and a keen amateur photographer.

Marie Gare

Office Coordinator

An experienced co-ordinator with over 5 years of experience, I am dedicated to delivering exceptional service and fostering strong relationships. I excel in managing office operations, streamlining processes, and building rapport with clients, tenants, and landlords. My passion lies in creating a positive and efficient work environment while ensuring smooth operations and achieving organizational goals.

When I'm not immersed in work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and furry companions, Ivy and Bane. I also find relaxation in reading a good book and staying active through gym workouts.

Experience: I have been working in the Accountancy sector for over 15 years so have a wealth of experience having worked at some of the biggest Accounting firms in the UK. 

About myself: I spend most of my time outside of work with my two young daughters. I am a keen sports fan and I also enjoy travelling and exploring new countries.

Spent 14 years working at Lloyds Bank in a Relationship Manager role helping SME’s through the West Midlands.  I left Lloyds to set up a Commercial brokerage for a Mortgage business from scratch this, I spent 3 years building this viable business before leaving to start my own Brokerage BPN Commercial Ltd

At BPN Commercial Ltd we look after all facets of commercial lending  which are detailed below
